Have you found yourself stuck in a slump my fellow Manifesting Generator?
If the bright spark that typically drives your many pursuits has been dimmed, know that this is a completely natural part of our cyclical journey.
Your inherent nature as a Manifesting Generator is built on a foundation of enthusiasm and rapid movement from one engaging project to another. But when your usual rhythm stalls, it can feel deeply unsettling.
The truth is that even though these slumps feel like obstacles, they end up being massive opportunities for realignment! They invite you to pause, reassess, and align with your deeper motivations.
Most of my clients come to me exactly at this pivotal point in their business when things feel like an old shoe that no longer fits, nor does it make you feel like a million bucks.
This is a crucial time for introspection and recalibration—a moment to clear the clutter of the non-essential so that you can reconnect with what truly ignites your passion.
In this blog post I’ll share some practices and pragmatic steps that I usually reserve for my private coaching clients.
They are designed to help you rediscover your ‘why,’ introduce refreshing new actions, and reconfigure your daily routines to awaken the dynamic energy that defines you as a Manifesting Generator.
Let’s get into them:
1. Reconnect with Your Why: Sometimes we need that reminder of what drives us and the life we’re creating. I personally have a habit of visualizing my Future self each day, along with doing Nervous System Calibration to that version of me, and that lifestyle. This both keeps me focused, and helps me manifest my desires MUCH faster since my Nervous System doesn’t feel like they are over there on the pedestal, but are here and no big deal. Normalizing desires in your nervous system makes them feel safe, and removes all resistance we may feel towards them, plus it also removes any hesitation we have to go after them.
2. Experiment with New Ideas: Your nature craves variety and thrives on experimentation. Spice up your routine by trying new approaches or diving into fresh projects. It’s like finding that new band or DJ that just gets you moving like no one did so far, giving your day to day a whole new vibe!
3. Delegate Tasks: As a Manifesting Generator, you’re capable of a lot, but remember – you don’t have to do it all alone. Assess your tasks and delegate what you can. This will free you up to focus on what you love and excel at, much like hiring an assistant to handle daily admin so you can focus on big-picture strategies and actions that no one can do but you.
4. Take Constructive Breaks: Never underestimate the power of a good break! Step away from your work and do something totally different—whether it’s a dance session with yourself in the mirror, a quick bike ride around the neighborhood, or dabbling with that drawing you were inspired to create…. Since we thrive on variety, it’s crucial that we are recharging in a way that feels like a breath of fresh air.
5. Set Small, Achievable Goals: Break your big tasks into smaller, tasty bites. Experiencing these small victories can create a snowball effect, pulling you out of a slump with a trail of wins behind you. It’s like setting a daily goal to write one page, and suddenly, you’ve written a book!
6. Seek Feedback and Collaborate: Tap into the collective genius of your peers or mentors. Fresh perspectives or the spark from working together can ignite new ideas and activate that big Sacral engine you’ve got. Like that collaboration that brought a breakthrough idea, or that feedback from a client that made you see how what you thought was obvious isn’t so much for them, which led you to level up your offer and get even more of those “This is brilliant!” reviews.
7. Reflect on Past Successes: Take a moment to look back at your trophy shelf of achievements. This will provide a powerful boost for your confidence, reminding you of the mountains you’ve already moved. I personally write daily in my Celebration Journal, where I write down all my accomplishments and things I’m grateful for. I love those days when there doesn’t seem to be much to write about because they force me to acknowledge those small things we often overlook.
8. Adjust Your Routine: Shake things up if your days feel too predictable. Us MGs need variety the most out of all the types. Small tweaks in how or where you work can make a surprisingly big impact. Think of it as rearranging the furniture in your office to suddenly see things from a new angle—refreshing and inspiring!
9. Visualize Success: Dedicate time to picture your success vividly. This isn’t just daydreaming, but a strategic visualization that outlines your path forward and revs up your Sacral engine. My clients and I do a daily Future Self visualization & Nervous System Calibration. This keeps us focused, and also takes our desires off the pedestal, making them feel safe and achievable, opening us up to both receive them and removing the hesitation in going after them!
