Gate 38 is also called the “Gate of the Fighter,” representing the energy of struggle, perseverance, and purpose. It’s a dynamic force, constantly challenging life’s meaning and seeking deeper truths. This gate has an intimate relationship with the concept of fighting for what is right,  and the inherent struggles that arise when attempting to manifest one’s true calling in the world.

In its shadow state, Gate 38 can lead to disillusionment and frustration. The energy here can feel like a constant, repetitive battle where one’s efforts seem to yield little reward or clarity. This may manifest as unending conflicts, disagreements without resolutions, or even a deeper, existential form of despair — questioning the very essence of life and its meaning, sometimes feeling like you’re on a hamster wheel of resistance with no exit in sight.

However, the journey from this shadow toward the gift of Gate 38 is a transformative and enlightening one. By confronting challenges head-on and seeking meaning in the struggle itself, one can find purpose and direction.

In its gift state, Gate 38 harnesses the energy of the fighter not as an aggressor, but as a passionate advocate for deeper truths and understandings. This gate acknowledges that life, with all its struggles, is worth fighting for. Every challenge faced, every battle endured, brings clarity, insight, and an even more robust sense of purpose.

Filled with love that is a signature frequency of the gift state, Gate 38 emerges as the force that champions worthwhile causes.

They have the energy that stands up against injustices, not out of a mere impulse, but from a deep-seated belief in a cause. These are the people who, when they say they’re willing to fight for something, mean it with every fiber of their being.

In its siddhic expression, the energy of Gate 38 reaches its most elevated form. The struggle is transcended and in its place is an unwavering, serene Determination.
It’s the realization that the truest battles are not against external forces, but against our own limitations and inner adversaries.

Here the energy of Gate 38 touches a realm of transcendent purpose. The struggles and battles are no longer about personal vendettas or societal challenges alone. They are about greater cosmic truths and universal justice. You become a beacon of light, guiding others towards causes and purposes that uplift humanity and restore harmony.

To embody the energy of Gate 38 is to acknowledge the dualities of life – the challenges and the triumphs, the struggles and the skills, wisdom and victories that come from them. It’s a reminder that the worth of a cause is not determined by the ease of its pursuit, nor the struggle for it, but by the depth of passion and devotion we bring to it.

Aligned Gate  would say…

In my earlier experiences I felt like I was constantly at war, not necessarily with others but with life itself.
Every challenge felt like a battle I had to win, and every obstacle a foe I had to defeat.

There were moments where I questioned the purpose of it all. Why does everything have to be a struggle? Why can’t life flow smoothly for once?
It was a tiring and often demoralizing phase.

However, as time progressed and my understanding evolved, the gift of Gate 38 began to unfold: ‘Perseverance.’
I realized that struggles were not roadblocks, but portals for evolution. Each challenge was an opportunity for growth and a call to stretch of my will and determination.

I began to see the beauty in the struggle, the strength it fostered within me, and the deeper experience of life it granted.

Now I stand tall, proud of the battles I’ve faced and the person I’ve become.

Now I know I can withstand anything on the path I choose to walk. Life becomes limitless!

I now understand that every struggle has a purpose, and that by looking at things from a (self) loving perspective, I can stay connected to my highest expression and joy.

Struggles are not tests of my deservingness, and I can let them go.

Gate 38 Sun Transit

This week, the Great Sky weaves a narrative of the Gate of the Fighter. We are invited to embrace the essence of struggle and transformation, and to reflect on the powerful tides of life and the enduring spirit of the warrior within us.

Yet we need to beware falling into a narrative that Struggle is necessary for being deserving of anything.

Beware the Shadow

As we move through the shadows of Gate 38, there is a whisper of struggle without purpose, a battle with no cause.
The Fear frequency that is the stamp of the Shadow, tells you that you won’t achieve your goals without a big struggle. It finds comfort in struggle.

So this week, steer your spirit towards allowing things to be easier by choosing to stay conscious of your choices.

Recognize the essence of meaningless battles and seek to focus on things that you truly desire, not the ones you think you should so you can get the outcome.
You have nothing to prove, just life to enjoy.

Gift Expression

When we follow our true desires, all struggles are no big deal. We want even the evolution our passions bring us. It’s the spice of life.

And in the Love frequency, which comes through our conscious connection with  God’s presence within us, as well as our inherent Divinity, we find our gifts unlocked.

This is where our purpose is clear, and the Ego is not allowed to distract us with excuses or “proving ourselves good enough” to receive our desires.

So this week seek to make your life easier, and connect to your true desires.
