
7 Effective Strategies to Get Coaching Clients ASAP

I know the road to getting more clients and growing your business to 6 figures and beyond, can feel like you’re climbing Everest — in flip-flops.
The internet is like a wild jungle of “foolproof” strategies, making it feel like you’re chasing your tail.
This whole “how do I get more clients” conundrum is one I see SO often. So many passionate, talented entrepreneurs feel stuck in mud because they’re clinging onto old-school marketing strategies that just don’t cut it in the digital age, or they think they need to have a large audience to sell more.
But guess what? I’m serving up seven no-nonsense, practical strategies that have brought in multiple six figures in sales for my clients and me. EVEN with a small audience of less than 5000 people.
1. Do a flash sale on a low ticket offer (the smart way!)
A flash sale is like a double scoop of your favorite ice cream! It gives you an immediate, sweet spike in revenue and creates a tasty buzz that’ll have your potential clients hustling to grab a piece of your magic.
Take one of your dazzling, yet lower-priced offerings and slap a discount on it. The ticking clock adds a rush of excitement and urgency that can give your clients the little nudge they need to say ‘yes!’
But, don’t forget, this is just the appetizer.
Once your clients get a taste of the fabulous work you do, they’ll be itching to sample the rest of your menu. So, make sure you swing back around and show them the enticing opportunities waiting in your higher-ticket items or add-on services.
Remember — a satisfied client is a returning client. So give them something to rave about!
2. Follow up with leads that didn’t buy last time
Life is a whirlwind, and people’s needs change fast. The one who wasn’t ready to hop on board a few months ago might be buckled in and ready for takeoff now.
How do you find out? Simple — send them a personalized message, comment on their latest Instagram story (to end up in the DMs) or share a laugh about their recent tweet. This personal touch makes them feel seen and valued.
Next, give them a little gift — no strings attached. Could be a free eBook that you know they’ll find valuable based on your last conversation, or an insightful piece of content that’s just what they need.
Then, ask those smart questions that spotlight the value of your offerings and naturally lead to your sales call.
Remember, each ‘no’ might just be a ‘not right now.’ So keep the conversation going and keep serving up your magic. You never know when they’ll be ready to dance.
3. Sell more to your existing clients
You’ve got a gold mine sitting right under your nose, and that’s your existing clients.
They’ve already bought into your magic, shown you trust, and fallen in love with what you do. They’re like your fans at a rock concert, always eager for the encore!
Reach out to them, show them that you see their journey, and make personalized offers that speak to their heart.
Show them how your new product, service, or program can help them level up their game or banish those pesky problems.
This is about more than just boosting sales though. It’s about deepening those connections and building a community that’s as invested in you as you are in them.
So, turn the spotlight back on those who’ve already said ‘yes’ to your brilliance, and keep offering them reasons to celebrate even more.
4. Follow up with past clients
Your past clients are like old friends — you’ve already shared some beautiful moments, and there’s always room for an encore.
Maybe they’ve crossed their initial finish line with you, but that doesn’t mean they’ve stopped running. Life’s a marathon, not a sprint, and your new offerings could be just the fuel they need for the next leg of their journey.
Here’s your cue to reach out and get the conversation flowing again.
Ask them those deep, insightful questions that show you’re still invested in their success. Uncover their current challenges, dreams, and goals, then spotlight your offerings that can help them conquer the new hurdles.
Remember, your clients aren’t just walking wallets — they’re people with needs, desires, and ambitions.
Good sales aren’t just about pushing a product; they’re about listening, understanding, and providing solutions.
So make sure your sales pitches are as permission-based as a dance invite. Don’t presume — ask, engage, and then present your transformational offer.
5. Send a one-time offer to past leads
Remember those folks who swirled around your offerings once upon a time, but didn’t take the final plunge?
Swing back their way with a personalized message that sparks their interest again. Check in, ask if they’re still looking for the magic your service provides. Maybe their needs have evolved, maybe the stars have aligned, and your solution is just what they’ve been dreaming of!
And because everyone loves a cherry on top, pair your message with an irresistible, one-time, hurry-before-it’s-gone kind of special offer. This touch of exclusivity, combined with a dash of urgency, could be just the nudge they need to jump in and say ‘yes’ to your brilliance.
Remember, every interaction is an opportunity.
6. Ask for referrals
Your satisfied clients are your loudest cheerleaders, and it’s time to hand them the megaphone!
If they’ve fallen in love with your product or service, you bet they know others who’d swoon just as hard. So, don’t be shy about asking them to play matchmaker.
Why not add a bit of sparkle to the deal with a referral program that offers incentives? Maybe it’s money, or maybe more time with you, or a course you’ve made.
It’s a win-win — your clients get a little thank-you gift, and you get to meet more people ready to dance with you.
Remember, the best way to spread your magic is through people who’ve already felt its power. So, step up and invite your clients to share your brilliance far and wide!
7. Do a training in front of someone else’s audience
One of the most fabulous ways to make your brilliance shine brighter is to perform on new stages.
Could be a guest spot in a group coaching session, or maybe you’ll light up a Facebook group, a Membership, or a Mastermind with your genius.
The platform doesn’t matter, as long as it lets you strut your stuff in a field related to your offerings.
This is your chance to dazzle a whole new audience with your expertise and skills, and honey, trust me when I say they’ll sit up and pay attention.
And the best part? Once they’ve gotten a taste of your magic, many of them will be itching to check out what else you’ve got in your treasure trove of offerings.
(Hopefully you have a stellar lead magnet to capture those who are most interested — quizzes and scorecards work best, because people love to self assess and measure themselves up to others or a benchmark)
